About UsThe aim of the club is to build a friendly community in which to foster a comfortable, productive, therapeutic, interactive, social working environment for members to experience, craft, appreciate, practice, and engage in fiber arts. This club offers a wonderful opportunity for those inexperienced in this classic and traditional form of art to develop their creative abilities/potentials and a newfound appreciation for fiber arts.

Who We Are & Our History |
The Crochet & Knitting club was originally established in August of 2015 by 4 founding members, Jing, Grace, Wendy, and Farjana. During Jing's undergraduate years, after a long time, she noticed there was an absence of a community for crocheters, knitters, and other forms of handworks. It wasn't until her senior year that she finally started her own club along with her friends who helped out a ton. It was through her love and addiction for crocheting and knitting, which motivated her to build a cozy place to de-stress, practice fiber arts, while making new friends at Hunter College over tea. The club focuses on a range of activities to get everyone involved, including planning on and off campus-events, trips, charity organizations, and social gatherings.
